(So after seeing that all the reviews on these plush were from Mommy blogs, I figured I'd go ahead and make one from the perspective of someone who wanted them for themselves!)
Life got you down? Do you just need a cute plush friend to keep you company while you go on another late-night Netflix binge? I know I did.
So I went browsing Etsy for something unique. I fully admit that I am PICKY when it comes to plain ol' plush of regular animals and not characters. No line has yet to stand up to my style standards. I find this surprising because I always just wanted something very minimalist looking.

For example, I'm watching (insert slice of life anime here) and I see some simple and cute little button-eyed and floppy-limbed bunny or cat plush on a character's bed, and I immediately think to myself - "THAT'S what I want in a plush! Surely someone must be selling plush like those!" Only to find that...no one is. How disappointing, right?
So that's when I stumbled upon Bellzi plush! The style was exactly what I was looking for! The first plush I laid my eyes on was their Foxxi plush. Foxes have been my favorite animal since I was a little girl, and I admit to have a decent amount of fox plush.
The little safety eyes and noses, the lack of a mouth, the cute floppy arms and legs, and the contrast between the colors all immediately caught my attention. The price was also a big draw for me. Only $40 for a handmade plush? Just for me? And the shipping is free? No way!
Way.
I wanted something unique and special, and I certainly found it. I had been having an absolutely terrible time with my anxiety at work and wanted a little reward for myself for hanging in there for the time that I did. I admit that by the time I was getting off work, I was a nervous wreck of tears curled into a little ball. Needless to say, that particular job didn't work out for me. The point being that I just wanted something nice and positive to keep close at night so I could make it through the time I had to.
So I went ahead and ordered a Foxxi plush in yellow. Choosing a color was so hard! They all look so vibrant and nice! The total time from purchase to delivery was either 10-11 days. (My Etsy delivery date says 15 days...but I would've remembered that. I don't think it's accurate.) either way, I thought it was a very reasonable amount of time.
I was so thrilled when it arrived. These are definitely well made plush. The stitching is all sturdy and even though the limbs are floppy, they don't feel weak. You can feel that they're stitched on strong. The minky they're made of is also great. Not the cheap kind at all. Very "melt in your hand" soft as you'd expect from the material. This is on par with the quality I use myself in my sewing. I love the safety eyes and nose as well. Simple, but really adds to the design. The size is really great. Not too big and not too small. Though if you want bigger, you can certainly get it(At least for Foxxi) they do offer a larger 20 inch size instead of the standard 12. The 12 fits very nicely in the arms for hugs!

Ghetto stand, yeah!
So a bit after ordering my Foxxi, I decided to get a Doggi as well. I saw that they take custom color orders(for a bit extra, of course), so I went ahead and sent them a message. I wanted a Doggi in the same purple they offer for Foxxi and Kitti(And others) They got back to me right away, and luckily the additional cost was only $5 more! I was surprised by how good of a deal it was. So they sent me an invoice and I had my Doggi in about 5 days! Lightning fast for a custom color!
They had said he wouldn't come with the bow and bell, but he did anyway! A nice surprise.
Another thing I love is that since these are handmade, they all have their little individual quirks that make them entirely yours and extra special. No two will be exactly the same. My Doggi here has a bit of an off-center eye. I think it adds to his charm. You just don't get that very often out of factory made products. And when it does happen, they tend to look a little...off. And not in a cute way like these.
Ghetto Stand 2: Electric Boogaloo
Overall I am really WOWed by these plush and I adore them. I hope to get more colors of Foxxi whenever I can, and maybe even the large sized one. I really recommend these plush for anyone interested or on the fence about taking the plunge. And hey, if you somehow don't like it, they take returns! They are downright lovely, and the service from Bellzi has been great.
Final score on these bad boys: 10/10
I can't find anything I dislike about these plush or would say needs improvement. They're just great all around. Sturdy, huggable, decorative, and soft all at once. You can tell a lot of work went into this line to get it where it is now, and the work definitely paid off!
(Since all the other review blogs felt the need to mention this, I figure I will too. All the opinions I've given on these plush are 100% my own, and are completely honest. I wish someone would pay me to say good things about their stuff! But you won't see that here anywhere on this blog.)
